Upgraded Mazda5 Arrives at The Co-operative Motor Group Mazda Derby and Guiseley

The Mazda dealerships in Derby and Guiseley now has the upgraded Mazda5 available to test drive for customers who are looking for a practical family car with seating for up to seven that handles well and is fun to drive.

The Mazda5 has been upgraded to offer more passenger comfort, better handling, a more refined ride and greater user practicality along with a refreshed look and, for the first time, an automatic transmission available from March.  The Co-operative Motor Group Mazda Derby on Sir Frank Whittle Road and the The Co-operative Motor Group Mazda Guiseley on Bradford Road offers the full line-up of nine models with a choice of four equipment levels and four powertrains, starting from just £14,760 on-the-road.

“We are very excited about the arrival of the upgraded Mazda5.  Our previous experience has shown that a number of our customers appreciate the reliability and practicality of the model and we expect the upgraded car to appeal to an even wider audience both visually and with its enhanced driving characteristics,” says the dealer principals at The Co-operative Motor Group Mazda.

At launch in 2005 the Mazda5 was the only vehicle in its sector equipped with dual sliding doors, the 2008 model is still unique in that respect but now offers even more functionality and ease of use with the option of electric sliding rear doors that stop automatically if obstructed while closing.

The upgraded Mazda5 is also better financially, whether private or business, with its improved fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.  The upgraded family-friendly Mazda5 also benefits from improved handling and introduces a wider colour range.

“A large number of Mazda5 owners are young families who favour comfort, convenience and safety but also expect a great driving experience,” commented Mark Cameron, Mazda UK’s marketing director.  “It's important to match their requirements with a C-MAV (Compact Multi-Activity Vehicle) to suit their often busy lifestyle, which is why the upgraded Mazda5 is now an even better choice.”

Also causing quite a stir since its arrival in showrooms last month is the new generation Mazda6.  The strong line-up of new cars is completed by the new Mazda2 supermini, launched at the end of last year it took the runner-up slot in European Car of the Year 2008 and has already broken sales records all over the country.
