The Co-operative Motor Group Mazda is accelerating towards the new ’07 registration plate change in March, with an impressive selection of new Mazda models including the new Mazda3 MPS superhatch that zoomed into showrooms last month.
The new Mazda3 MPS available from £18,995 on-the-road joins the larger Mazda6 MPS, which was launched early last year. Powered by the same 2.3-litre 260ps turbocharged engine both cars top 150mph and surge from 0 62mph in 6.1 and 6.6 seconds respectively.
As Britain's favourite sports car brand, selling an impressive one in every five sports cars last year, the Zoom-Zoom company is rightfully proud of its sports car line-up. The iconic Mazda MX-5 soft-top has recently been joined by the Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe, which features the world's fastest retractable hard top - opening and closing in just 12 seconds - without compromising boot space. Available from £18,500 on-the-road and featuring iPod connectivity and a complementary Mazda iPod Nano as standard, the Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe offers affordable motoring for true open-top sports car drivers.
The revolutionary rotary-powered, four-door, four seater Mazda RX 8 sports coupé has been widely praised for its excellent driving dynamics, styling, performance and fun. Available in 192ps and 231ps versions the Mazda RX-8 is truly unique, the range starts from a competitive £21,400 on-the-road.
“We have a range of attractive finance offers available across the Mazda range,” commented Sunwin’s general manager Tony Guest. “In addition, we are offering five special or limited editions to our customers, providing both exclusivity and excellent value for money.”
The Co-operative Motor Group will introduce the Mazda MX-5 2.0i ZSport, priced at £19,995 on-the-road which is packed with over £2,250 of additional or exclusive extras including bespoke 17-inch BBS multi-spoke alloy wheels, unique Mica paint and stone leather upholstery.
The Mazda RX-8 ‘Kuro’ (231ps) costs £23,995 on-the-road and is limited to just 500 vehicles across the country and features individual vehicle numbering and bespoke stainless steel scuff plates with exclusive Sparkling Black Mica paint and luxurious stone leather trim.
This exciting model joins the second wave Mazda3 and Mazda6 Katano vehicles, popular in 2006 for their fantastic value-for-money featuring a Navimaster (by Siemens VDO) portable satellite navigation system and free of charge Metallic or Mica paint.
The final vehicle to receive special treatment is the ever-practical and award-winning Mazda5 Furano, receives a full sports styling kit, clear rear tailgate lenses and free of charge Metallic or Mica paint.
