The Co-operative Motor Group Nissan, Keighley has set an excellent standard of customer service to West Yorkshire consumers over the last twelve months, and in recognition of their high standard of commitment to customer care,  has been presented with a Trading Standards award from the Motor Trade Partnership.

Graham Hebblethwaite, Chief Officer of West Yorkshire Trading Standards Service said: “It is really positive news to hear that The Co-operative Motor Group Nissan have won this award. The excellent customer services they provide encourages consumers to shop with confidence’.

Councillor Michael Walls Deputy Chair of the West Yorkshire Trading Standards Committee said ‘It is encouraging that local garages are working in partnership with Trading Standards to give consumers of West Yorkshire an excellent standard of service’.

In an industry where suspicion was particularly high and consumer expectations were low, the motor trade industry reputation had suffered for years at the hands of a minority of rogue traders. As a result the Motor Trade Partnership was set up to tackle the increasing number of consumer complaints in relation to car sales, servicing and repairs.
