Miles of Mencap Smiles for Motor Group Hikers

Motor Group and HR Team raise over £7,000 for Mencap and ENABLE Scotland

Miles for MencapThe Co-operative Motor Group 'Miles for Mencap' team recently completed their 21-mile hike across the Lake District, raising over £7000 towards the Mencap and Enable Scotland 'Inspire Me' initiative.  The team asked friends and family to donate via their dedicated JustGiving page and successfully completed their challenge whilst smashing their original fundraising target at the same time.

Despite their sore feet and fatigue after climbing several ascents over 3400 feet, the team were elated to reach the finish line and delighted to be able to contribute to creating and supporting opportunities to allow 20,000 young people with learning disabilities to aim high and fulfil their dreams.
