Two groups of cyclists will set off from opposite ends of the canal hoping to meet in the middle after 63.5 miles – although the team that travels the shortest distance will have the forfeit of cleaning the bikes and support vehicles.
Robert Jones, Dealer Principal at Peugeot, said: “This is a massive challenge, particularly as none of us are serious cyclists. With around 15 of us taking this on it should be great fun, and I hope everyone can spare us whatever they can to help us reach our fundraising target.”
