Strictly speaking its strip is more Pacific Blue than navy blue, still, Terry Dolan's new Mazda has the right sporty credentials to join the set up at Guiseley AFC.
The Mazda 6 TS sports car – worth £15,500 – was presented to manager Dolan on Saturday just before Guiseley's home match at Nethermoor Park.
It's part of a sponsorship deal between the club and local dealership The Co-operative Motor Group Mazda, both of whom are having a good season of it.
Terry, formerly manager of Hull City and York City, has won grace and favour at Guiseley since joining at the beginning of the season. Hopes are high that he'll lead the club up the Unibond Football League, where it's currently ranked eighth.
The car dealership on Bradford Road meanwhile, is experiencing the power of 'zoom-zoom' since changing from Rover to Mazda in the summer. “We may be one of the oldest dealerships in Yorkshire but we have one of the hottest ranges of sports models ever and sales are going really well,” said dealer principal Howard Strickland.
Sounds like a match made in heaven for Dolan, who will keep the nifty little four door for this rest of season and next. Let's hope this is another example of Farnell Mazda backing a winning team.
