Weekend of Fun at Farnell Bradford!

Colleagues, customers and VIPs enjoyed a weekend of fun activities to mark the opening of Farnell Land Rover’s new showroom in Bradford this weekend.

Farnell Weekend

Jatinder Aujla, Operations Manager for the Land Rover brand, Tony Robinson
and Labour MP for Bradford West, Marsha Singh at the opening.

Friday night saw the team welcome TV presenter and actor Tony Robinson, along with Bradford West MP Marsha Singh, and Bradford’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Peter Hill to help officially open the dealership.

And that was just the beginning of the festivities, as throughout the weekend customers were able to experience live cooking demonstrations from a local Indian chef, sampling delicious eastern delicacies whilst looking around the fantastic new showroom.

The dealership also hosted the Land Rover "Terrapod", which gave motorists the chance to experience some extreme off-road driving without leaving the forecourt, as well as a live display from the UK’s original mountain bike display team – M.A.D.

The Co-operative Group’s Deputy Chief Executive, Martyn Wates, also attended the event as did Specialist Commercial Businesses Managing Director Mike Austin, and Motor Group’s General Manager, Tony Guest.

The Farnell team also welcomed Ellie Gray, Director of Fundraising from our Charity of the Year, Mencap.
