The Co-operative Motor Group & Nott's County FC

The Haydn Road based site of The Co-operative Motor Group, has today announced an official partnership with Notts County Football Club which sees the business become the official preferred car supplier to the Midlands club.

The initial agreement will run for the 2010/2011 season and will see The Co-operative Motor Group provide vehicles for use by the First Team Manager, Craig Short, Assistant Team Manager, Dave Kevan and the Head of Conference and Banqueting, Paul Fearon.
 
The trio will now be driving a Nissan Qashqai, a Chrysler 300c and a Dodge Journey all thanks to The Co-operative Motor Group.

Part of The Co-operative Group, The Co-operative Motor Group, re-branded from Sunwin Motors last year, will be promoting the partnership at their Haydn Road site which includes Renault, Nissan and Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealerships through a series of joint marketing and branding initiatives, via Club spectator engagement on match days and on the Notts County Football Club official site. 

Notts County Chairman Ray Trew said: “This is another superb partnership that demonstrates the valuable support the Club has amongst the business community.

The Co-operative Motor Group recognised the benefits we could bring to their business – and they filled a need we had for some quality vehicles. We hope it’s the start of a long and very successful partnership.”
