Brand New Range Rover/Land Rover Showroom Opens in Bradford

A state of the art £1M dual branded Range Rover/Land Rover dealership has opened its doors to customers

Farnell Bradford, part of The Co-operative Motor Group, was one of the very first Land Rover dealerships in the world and has relocated to 2 Kings Road, off of Canal Road in Bradford. It has created one of the largest Land Rover showrooms in the UK and is now amongst the biggest in the World. It is also one of the very first UK dealerships to share the new and very prominent dual Range Rover/Land Rover branding.

The new site has created over 15 new roles and houses nine new models with the ability to actively demonstrate features such as the in-car entertainment and satellite navigation systems due to specialist indoor battery technology. Over 40 Approved Used Vehicles are also displayed under a purpose built canopy.

Showroom features include the latest in customer hospitality facilities, with an LCD TV, Wi-Fi, a state of the art touch screen coffee machine as well as ice cream and cold drinks. There will also be a dedicated children’s play area with a Sony PS3.

Other innovations include a large frameless glass wall next to service reception to enable customers to look into the workshop which will be designed to the highest standards and feature the latest equipment, such as sophisticated electronic vehicle health check systems, full MOT facilities, the very latest tyre replacement machines and a “smart repair” booth.

The new look site also has a dedicated Business Centre in a separate self contained showroom at the rear of the building for corporate customers to receive expert advice on their business vehicles.

And for the colleagues who work in the building, a fully fitted canteen with plasma TV and technicians shower facilities mean they will enjoy one of the very best working environments in any UK dealership.

Jatinder Aujla, Operations Manager, said: “Farnell was one of the world’s first ever Land Rover dealers and now it has created one of the very best dual branded Range Rover/Land Rover dealerships to add to our existing sites in Guiseley and Central Leeds. We expect to deliver over 1,700 new and 1,200 used vehicles in 2011 between the three sites.

Our total investment in Bradford will be in excess of £1million and we have created over 15 new jobs. However, our main aim will be to provide exceptional customer facilities and a level of care that can only be matched by the very best retail organisations."
